So, Carson got his Kindergarten pictures (previous post) taken just in time! Because a few nights ago, while jumping on the tramp with his friend, he got hit in the chin, and lost his VERY FIRST TOOTH! This tooth was in no way ready to come out yet, which tells you how hard he must have gotten hit! A friend, who happens to be a dentist, was over at the time and couldn't believe how 1) small the actual tooth was and 2) how LONG the tooth was. Since it wasn't really ready to come out yet, the roots were all still formed on the tooth and I'm pretty sure he'll have a gap there for a long time, since the other tooth probably won't make an appearance for quite awhile!

Cute little Carson started to cry when he got hit, but when he realized he lost a tooth, he was all smiles. He was SO excited and proud to have lost his very first tooth, and has shown everybody that we've seen since the incident, his little gap.
He had a hard time deciding if he wanted to KEEP his special tooth, or put it under the pillow for the toothfairy. The desire for money won out, and he ended up making $1.50 from the fairy. He thinks he made so much since it was such a special (aka long) tooth.

Ouch! that is not the way to loose a tooth. Ouch!
But it is a cute gap in his smile.
Oh, he will have so much fun sucking things through and spitting things out of that cute little hole!
My older brother punched me in the face and knocked mine out too. I feel for ya Cars.
That happened to me when I was little. It took forever for my tooth to grow back!! Do you remember that at all? At least Carson's is not is front tooth like mine. That must have killed!
Now that is a tooth that looks like it hurt coming out! Ouch1 I can't believe how long it is either.
Cash can't wait to lose his teeth, in fact sometimes when it's time to brush he'll put up the argument that he doesn't WANT to brush because he WANTS his teeth to fall out so the tooth fairy will come. So at our house the tooth fairy will only come and give you money in exchange for HEALTHY teeth. :)
he is so darn cute! ryan keeps wiggling his teeth to see if one is loose yet. he really really wants the tooth fairy to visit him! we miss carson in our class. hope your family is doing well!

Tatum and Hayden both knocked teeth out when they were about 2 years old. And same thing, tiny tooth with LONG root. Must run in the family. :) He sure looks cute with that little gap, though!
