So we ordered a little elf this year to help us keep an eye on the kids and help Santa know if they were being naughty or nice. We named our "Elf on the Shelf" Bronco. He was quite the entertainer for the last month. You see, in the night while we're fast asleep, Bronco heads home to the North Pole to let Santa know how the kids were that day, and when he gets back, he finds a new place to sit for the day. (The kids know not to touch him, or he might lose his magic.) The kids had a blast finding him every morning though, especially since he seemed to get into a little mischief some nights! I didn't take pictures every day, but I got a few pictures of some of the things we found Bronco doing when we woke up every morning. Enjoy!
Bronco caught the cold we had going around our house... Poor guy.
Bronco must like Rudolph. He used that red marker to paint the kid's noses while they were sleeping, to look just like Rudolph!
One morning, Bronco brought us a pot of dirt and some magic seeds.....
And the next morning they grew into SUCKERS for the kids!!!
Nothing like a game of cards with the other toys to pass the time.....
Bronco wrote the kids this letter, and left them each an early Christmas present to apologize for all the pranks he had pulled.....
Little did they know, the presents were also pranks! Carson unwrapped an ice-cream cone filled with leftover roast beef and smothered in Spaghetti sauce. McKenzie got a container of shaving cream filled with olives. And Madison got a dirty old sock filled with rocks. Funny little Bronco!
Taking a ride on Santa's sleigh...
Bronco TP'd the kid's bathroom and used Shaving Cream on the mirror...
Snow Angels in rice....
One morning, we found our tree re-decorated in Carson's underwear. Madison thought it was the funniest thing ever.
Carson.....not so much.
Just hanging upside down sipping Syrup from a straw and munching on some mini-donuts (AKA cheerios with frosting and sprinkles...)
Bronco did lots of other fun things too, (my favorite was the snowball fight with Barbie (mini-marshmallows) and I'm so glad we started this tradition this year. We can't wait to see what he'll do when he comes back to visit next year!!! Thanks Bronco for all the fun!

That's hilarious! Only you could think of something like that. I can see your kids loving it too.
