Madison turns 4

(Not sure why all the pictures have a black line on them. The blog is being screwy right now. Sorry.)

Part 1- Her Birthday

James took Madison to lunch for her birthday. That morning she opened presents, went to Kenzie's Kindergarten program, and after the kids were out of school we went to Dairy Queen and hit Big Bounce.  James worked the swing shift, so just mom and the kids celebrated that night.

Part 2- THE PARTY

Madison asked for a FLOWER party this year for her birthday, so this is the cake I came up with.

The Kitchen set-up

Each guest got to pick a flower bow to wear and keep when they arrived. Also when they arrived, they guessed how many butter mints were in the jar and the winner got to take it home.

It sure is hard to believe Madison is 4! You had her after we moved from Pocatello and it hardly seems like that much time has flown by (and other times it seems like it's been forever since then - funny how that works :) She's looking so grown up - not a baby anymore! I always like to see your celebration ideas - what a cute cake!
